FAQS

Q: Why Camp?
A:  Two weeks after the Tornado hit, the volunteer coordinators were introduced to Ms. Jerri. Still living without running water or electricity, they pledged to "camp like Ms. Jerri" until a new home was purchased. The girls camped out 1 night at Ms. Jerri's house and raised $1,000. Because of the scattered debris and dangerous glass, it was not safe to have other campers join. 94.9 The Bull heard about the camping and contacted Atlanta Motor Speedway to partner with us for our "Camp 4 a Cause" event. The proceeds raised from this event will purchase Ms. Jerri a new home and help other tornado victims that had no insurance.

Q: What do I bring?
A: Yourself, a sleeping bag, a tent (optional), toiletries, water and food! This will be a true camping experience. No running water will be available, so make sure to bring a jug or 2. The first 50 families or groups of 5+ will be given disposable grills. Porta-potties will be on site.

Q: Is there anything I can't bring?
A: This is a family friendly event and alcohol will not be allowed. We are re-creating the night of camping with Ms. Jerri which consisted of friends and country music! Bands will play from 5:30 p.m.- 1:00 a.m.

Q: What if I only want to come for the concert?
A: Admission is the same for concert-goers and campers. One flat fee of $10 per person or $30 for a family. You will be given a wristband and can come and go as you please.
